'Twas the end of December, in Braeside's bright hall,
Where our community spirit was felt by us all.
The halls were adorned, events planned with great care,
And dreams of 2025 were already there!
In gardens so lovely, Jim and Matt took the lead,
With volunteers planting each flower and seed.
They created a sanctuary, peaceful and green,
With benches and fruit trees, the finest we've seen.
Kim's planning brought events full of fun and delight,
While Liz rallied helpers to make each one just right!
Together they weave such community magic,
(Without volunteers, now that would be tragic!)
Treasurer Emily danced while she managed the cash,
At Stampede, her line moves were impressively flash!
And while winter winds howl and we're snug in our beds,
Doug rallies his Guardians (the BIG ones, it's said!)
Michele shaped our parks with precision and care,
While Bill added vision to make them more fair.
Paul led a litter campaign with great zest,
Cleaning up Braeside and inspiring the rest!
Robert kept watch on the street that we share,
Improving their safety with thoughtful repair.
The Halloween Haunt brought more giggles than fright,
While Gail's killer quizzes kept brains burning bright.
Dear Karen joined forces to manage our hall,
Ensuring each rental brought joy to us all!
Jennifer's governance kept us on track,
with rules and decisions that never did lack!
Elsbeth as secretary helped organize,
ensuring our minutes were clear and precise.
Louise and her team keep the children in line,
with stories and smiles that brighten their time!
And President Jenny lead with great cheer,
guiding our board through another fine year!

More programs await in 2025,
Together we'll keep Braeside's spirit alive!
But what's that I hear? Could it be something new?
Why yes! It's our AGM and we're calling for YOU!
Come share your ideas, maybe join our fine crew,
Because Braeside's not Braeside without folks like you!

The board needs fresh faces, new ideas to share,
(And trust me, dear neighbours, it's not such a scare!)
